One Shot: Acrophobia

(This is something that I thought of while watching PnF. It has nothing to do with Soon To Be (Maybe Not) Sisters.) Phineas and Ferb does not belong to me.

Ferb feels two hands grab his arm tightly. He looks down and with his eyes follows the arms until he sees an orange and white striped tee-shirt. Phineas is clinging to his step-brother's arm, and his eyes are closed. Ferb smiles slightly and looks down between his feet through the glass floor of their sky high transportation system. "You okay, Phin?"

"What do you think?" Phineas clutches Ferb's arm tighter as the pod they're in jolts a bit in the wind. The younger boy opens his eyes briefly, then closes them again. "Why do I keep coming up with ideas that require heights?"

Ferb laughs. "We're almost there." He realizes that he can't feel his fingers, and looks down at his arm. "Hey Phineas? Do you think that you could maybe relax your grip a little? I can't feel my hand."

Phineas loosens his clutches on his step-brother's arm. "I'm sorry, Ferb. It's just, ever since I fell from that haunted house..."

"Yeah, I know." Ferb looks down sadly. Ever since the haunted house that they had made to scare away Isabella's hiccups had basically flown away with Phineas inside, the poor boy has been taken by an extreme case of acrophobia.

The glass pod slows to a stop at the landing zone, and Phineas opens his eyes. He quickly lets go of Ferb, and looks over at him, once again all smiles. "Thanks." They get out of their pod, and they run to catch up with the others by the elevator.

(Just a small one shot, though I may write a story following this storyline after Maybe Not is finished.) Please Comment!
