Chapter 4: Ugly Dresses

Phineas and Ferb does not belong to me

Eighteen year-old Phineas kisses Isabella on the cheek as he passes holding a blueprint. She giggles. Phineas’ older sister Candace yells from where she’s sitting, “Phineas, cut that out! Now she’s gluing flowers on upside down!!” the red head laughs and runs over to his sister while Isabella quickly flips the flower around before the glue can dry.
“So, have you found one you like yet?” Candace is looking through catalogues to see if she can find a wedding dress style that she likes before Linda and Mrs. Johnson take her shopping. Phineas and Ferb are planning her wedding, and the blueprint Phineas is holding is for her cake. She tries to peek at it, and he rolls it up and holds it out of her reach. “ Oh, no. This is going to be a surprise.” Ferb, who is one year older than Phineas, comes in the door from his date with Vanessa Doofenshmirtz.

He reaches out and grabs the blueprint from his step-brother. “Nice job, Phin.” Phineas grins at Ferb happily.
Linda Flynn-Fletcher comes in from the kitchen. “Candace, have you found any styles that you like?” When her daughter shakes her head, Linda sits down next to her. She grabs another catalogue from the pile on the coffee table and opens it. “Eew.” Candace looks at the “dress” her mother is pointing at and starts laughing.

Phineas looks over his sister’s shoulder. “Is that a yellow and grey wedding swimsuit?” He shakes his head. “That’s just wrong.” Ferb laughs when he looks at it.

Isabella rolls her eyes as she glues another flower onto the centerpiece she’s making. “Wedding swimsuit. That’s just ridiculous.”
