Deleted Scenes

(These are a couple of moments from my Chi Vin storyline. Unfortunately, I can't really use them in either of my Chi Vin stories, so I'm giving them a page of their own. :) Phineas and Ferb does not belong to me.

This one takes place in the woods during Carl Gets a Pet:

She puts her hand into a bush and pulls out a handful of berries. "Phineas..." Candace throws him a berry, "Try these, they're amazing." While her brother carefully examines the berry, she thinks over the question that he just asked her. She passes some more of the berries around, "All these bushes look alike, but you can only eat the berries from the ones that have the yellow stems. The ones with green stems have fruit that turns humans into werewolves."

Her other brother looks up at her, "How did you figure that one out?"

"Trial and error." She looks down to see his shocked expression, and growls at him suddenly. Perry, Stacy, Ferb, and Phineas all jump in the air and scream. Candace laughs, "Guys, I'm just teasing you. Seriously, I thought you were smarter than that."

They both glare at her, but Stacy is giggling behind her hand as she stares at the platypus, who is dramatically clutching his chest as well as he can in his mindless disguise. "I can't believe I fell for that again."

"Although, they are poisonous, so don't go eating them in large amounts." She smirks, "And I can't believe that Stacy fell for that again."

Phineas shakes his head, "You changed the subject pretty effectively, there."

Candace sighs, "Yeah, I've gotten pretty good at that over the last year." She looks into his eyes, "I suppose you want to hear the answer to your question, huh?"

Ferb looks over at his platypus, then back at his sister. "Did anyone else hear Perry scream like a school girl?"

"I didn't want to tell you because..." Her voice breaks off, "You were always having so much fun." She puts another berry into her mouth, "I didn't want to break you."

Perry looks up at the teen, shocked. Phineas seems to be having the same reaction, "What? Are we... robots or something?"

His sister shrugs, "If you are, I am. But no, that's not what I meant." Candace looks down at the purple stain the berries left on her hand. "You never seem scared, you always look challenges straight in the face with a good attitude, and I didn't want to be the person to tell you that what you do is extremely dangerous in case..."

Her little brothers look at their older sister in a new light. "Candace, that's just who we are." Ferb gives his older sister a hug. She goes down on one knee and hugs both of them tightly.

Phineas struggles out of the group hug. "Nothing can change us." He looks down at the ground, "Well, I guess except those werewolf berries."

She laughs, "I seriously just wanted to see if you would fall for it."

This one takes place after the prologue of BTB:

Linda places plates of plum, plantain, and pork stew in front of her hungry family. "There was a sale on fruit today at the grocery store."

"Yeah, and it kept you just long enough to miss the giant crazy slide that Phineas and Ferb made." Candace pokes at her stew. "This smells... interesting."

Lawrence takes a bite, and smiling at his wife, he chews and swallows. "Tastes wonderful, dear."

Even Phineas isn't eating very much. Candace pulls out her cellphone and calls the house phone under the table. When Linda goes out of the room to answer it, the boys quickly react, scooping stew into a special pocket they've made in front of everyone's spots at the table. Candace sneaks into the living room to keep her mother talking, using one of her fake accents. "I'm from Where Are They Now?, your highly insulting radio station that is totally real. We would like to make fun of you on the air tomorrow at 3:00."

"No thank you." Linda tries to hang up, but Candace keeps talking.

She thinks fast on her feet, so the next thing she says is, "But we need your picture so that we can distort it to insult you even more on our new Lindana Where They Are Now? Tee-Shirts."

"No thank-you." She tries to hang up again.

Candace says, "But you owe it to your fans to let us make you look several years older than you really are on the media!"

Linda stomps her foot and starts on a tirade. As she's talking, Candace carefully hangs up the phone and sneaks back to her seat. The boys and Lawrence have done a good job of making it appear like they have all eaten two or three servings of the meat and fruit stew. "We'll donate it to that food up cycling organization." Phineas whispers to his sister as she takes her seat.

Their mother storms back into the kitchen. "I'm glad that you guys have enjoyed your stew." She takes one bite of the stew and splutters. "I don't know how, though."

Ferb tilts his head. "Whatever do you mean, Mother?"

"It's horrible." Linda stands up and goes to pour hers down the sink. "I'm sorry, everyone."

Candace shrugs. "I made Lamb Cobbler out of a lamp, a large bow, and some roses once. This was no stranger."

"And how did that turn out?" Her mother raises an eyebrow.

The teen smiles a little, "Well, it was perfect, but then it was suddenly dehydrated by a ray from the sky."

(I may be adding more over the course of April, if I write things that take away from the story or don't make any sense within context.) Please Comment!
